This hilarious musical comedy celebrates the mania of competition, as the funniest, most lovable, and sardonically nerdy contestants compete for the Spelling Bee title. Six wacky misfits with steely ambition strive to set themselves apart from their crazy families. Each night the cast will challenge audience members to a bona fide spell-off but be prepared because this bee is anything but typical. The youth of the spelling bee are portrayed by adults and although this show is great fun for all ages, some small references may be uncomfortable for a younger audience. This Tony-award-winning musical comedy with music and lyrics by William Finn and book by Rachel Sheinkin is sure to delight Stowe audiences.
