“I LOVE YOU, YOU’RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE,” the current longest-running Off-Broadway musical, is entering its ninth smash year at the Westside Theatre. This hilarious, uproarious, embarrassingly touching musical comedy has played to more than 700,000 people at its home theatre. “I LOVE YOU, YOU’RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE” has surpassed the Broadway runs of such musicals as “My Fair Lady,” “Annie,” “South Pacific,” “Oklahoma!,” “Fiddler on the Roof,” and “Hello, Dolly!”
And now, Stowe Theatre Guild is immensely pleased to bring you the premiere Vermont production of this smash hit. It’s a celebration of the mating game, taking on the truths and myths behind that contemporary conundrum known as "the relationship" as it pays tribute to those who have loved and lost, to those who have fallen on their face at the portal of romance, and to those who have dared to ask, "Say, what are you doing Saturday night?"
