Camelot is the magical and tragic story of King Arthur, Guenevere, Lancelot, and the Knights of the Round Table. It is a play filled with passion, emotion, great comedic relief, and wonderfully lyrical songs. This summer the Stowe Theatre Guild will offer Camelot as it's opening musical. The team assembled to produce this show is the same team that orchestrated the production of Man of La Mancha last year with the Stowe Theatre Guild.
Nancy Jeffries Eisenberg, the veteran Producer
of eight Stowe Theatre Guild shows, is back to work her magic with Director,
Joe
Mara (Director of Man of La Mancha and Little Shop of Horrors).
Tom
Piercy, of New York, will be the Musical Director, with
Tom Cleary,
of Burlington, and David Gibson, of Stowe, as rehearsal pianists.
Milford
Cushman and Peter Dreissigacker (Set Designers for
Man of
La Mancha) will bring their talents to the Stowe stage to design a
magnificent set. Choreographing the wonderful dancing of Camelot
will be Christine Mara. And Paul Ugalde will play the
part of Stage Combat Consultant.
